Sunsynk is a renewable energy solutions company specialising in solar and energy storage products. They approached us for a website redesign that would feel clean, modern, and professional, while clearly communicating how their business operates. As Sunsynk designs and manufactures products but does not distribute them directly, a key challenge was defining clear user pathways and directing different audiences to the right information.

The final design balances clarity and simplicity with a contemporary aesthetic that reflects technological innovation and sustainability, using strong imagery and well-structured product information. The primary audience includes environmentally conscious homeowners, commercial property owners, and businesses operating in regions with high energy costs or unreliable power grids.

Requirements & Result

We had to communicate the need
for efficient and reliable energy solutions to reduce energy costs, and also environmental benefits. We did this through clear, structured layouts that prioritise performance, clarity, and trust. Product information is presented in a logical hierarchy, making benefits such as cost savings, system efficiency, and reliability easy to understand at a glance. Alongside this, we used restrained, modern visual design, clean typography, and confident spacing to reflect technical credibility, while natural imagery and a considered colour palette subtly reinforce sustainability and environmental impact without relying on heavy-handed messaging.

To cater more effectively for the target audience, the new wireframe introduces three distinct user pathways. Dedicated areas were created for installers and distributors, allowing specialist users to access relevant tools and information, while household users remain outside of any login walls. User research showed that homeowner journeys could be fully supported through public content, helping reduce unnecessary barriers and streamline the experience.
